Events Calendar
Saturday 16th Aug. 2025, from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. at The Stable Studios, Fairlight Place Farm,
Barley Lane, Hastings, TN35 5DT
Open studios, with local artists.
The building that became The Stables Studio was originally the farm’s coach house, stables and
walled garden. It now houses a thriving picture framing business and artists’ studios. We are pleased
to have several local artists who are based there available to talk about their working practices and
answer questions about their work, which will be on show. They live locally and are influenced by the
natural world in East Sussex and further afield.
Toilet facilities and refreshments will be available. Parking at the studio yard is limited so, unless they
have mobility issues, visitors are kindly requested to park at the top of Barley Lane in the Nature
Reserve car park and enjoy the walk to the studio.
The artists at The Stable Studios are:
Sally Cole
Sally is a landscape painter and printmaker. As an artist she wishes to reveal the mystery and
majesty of the land - the essence of what we see and feel when looking at a landscape.
